NEW WORKSHOPS FOR 2019
Join me in Italy or Noway next year on a carefully designed workshop that takes you to some stunning places while improving your photography technique. I’ve been leading workshops for over 6 years and always enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for these inspiring landscapes with participants.
3 - 9 FEBRUARY 2019
I'm joining Vagabond Expeditions to run a photography expedition exploring Lofoten’s pristine snow-covered landscapes by snowshoes or trekking.
This expedition is designed to take you to some of the more remote locations that are normally not often frequented in winter, but of course we’ll be based in the heart of Lofoten so visits to the iconic locations like the villages of Hamnøy and Reine surrounded by fjords and mountains, and the rocky beach at Uttakleiv will also be on the agenda. In late February this stunning archipelago of islands scattered between icy fjords and ocean beaches, punctuated by snow covered mountains and fishing villages is blanketed with fresh snow and breath-taking views are everywhere you look.
14 - 21 SEPTEMBER & 22 - 29 SEPTEMBER 2019
Of all the different facets of landscape photography, mountains offer perhaps the most magnificent scenery to capture and the breath-taking towers and peaks of the Dolomites are among the most beautiful mountains in the world.
Our workshop has two bases which allows us to cover the huge variety of landscapes to shoot here in the Dolomites. We start off with five days in Cortina d’Ampezzo in the eastern part of the region from where we can explore the stunning Tre Cime di Lavaredo natural park at both sunrise and sunset. Our second base takes us west where we’ll stay on the high alpine meadows of Alpe di Siusi to see a couple of the Dolomites most iconic scenes.
